If all the companion NPCs in a game can be mutually attracted to the player character regardless of gender, that doesn’t mean they’re all bisexual. It means that any given person could have any given sexuality… and what’s not realistic about that? That’s how real life works. 

Of course, if their sexuality happens to fall along the lines that makes the character the player is interested in interested in the player’s character… well, that’s how fantasy works. Straight guys have been getting this treatment for ages. Why should they complain if everyone (including them) get it, too?
