I thought the post of mean with the MS paint facial hair would get notes but it didn’t.

It always makes me smile when I see that one of my followers has been going through my archives.
The main reason that the whole “transethnicism” thing really bothers me is because it assumes that ethnicity and culture are immovable, permanent constructs. Just because you’re Japanese but have an affinity for Brazil doesn’t mean that you’re transethnic. Honestly, I feel like this attitude of ethnic rigidity is quite racist and stifles the tolerance of people who want to explore cultures other than their own.
:o
I’m one follow away from 100!
In which I ramble on about musical instruments.
So, I’ve reached a standstill as far as what I’d like to work on next. As far as musical instruments are concerned, that is. So, I’ll be taking commentary, opinions, and suggestions from my followers to see what they think.
Alas, I’m only really listing instruments that I can realistically see myself getting my hands on, in the near future. So, that cuts out the really expensive ones that I’d LOVE to play. Chances are if I’ve listed something, I’ve found it within my budget somewhere. I’m also looking for versatility in my instruments, too. And, unfortunately, my lyre doesn’t have very many niches. I love her to bits, but I’d like to broaden my musical skill-sets a bit more than where I stand currently.
Much more under the cut. <3
You’d probably get the most use out of the concertina. I’m not sure how long it takes to master, but far more music has been written for it than for any of the others, perhaps excluding the banjo. It also has a unique but somewhat familiar sound unlike any of the others listed.
Well I’m doing what Liam says and expanding it into a longer post.
Under a read more because yeah.
I’m about to rant. You’ve been forewarned.
So, my friend (who I used to be very close to but for reasons, we’ve drifted extremely far apart) is going to UMichigan and posted a picture of a waffle with a giant ‘M’ that he had eaten there.
